You will be joining a team of Business Analysts working on one of Plagats Strategic Programmes to review, optimise and embed processes, supported by innovative and intuitive technologies, transforming assessment services into world class products, making a real difference to our IT business processes, which means your work will be interesting and exciting.

You will be good at self-starting and dealing with the unknown and should have strong business process experience.

What's in it for me?

You will have a basic of 25 days annual leave per year, with extra days at Christmas and the Bank Holidays on top. You will have a working week of 35 hours, with at least two days onsite office attendance per week in the newly refurbished office, and a good pension; you can contribute up to 7% and we will put in 11.5% giving 18.5% towards your pension and more. Experience Requirements

We are looking for someone who is personable, pro-active, professional and able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and service in all activities. If you like to work hard and play as hard then you will fit into the team really well.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with business process modelling and requirements gathering
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders
  • Ability to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements
  • Ability to partner with delivery teams to identify course of resolutions
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and project inter-dependencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - someone who can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in the travel industry or a related field is desirable
  • Knowledge of travel industry technologies, such as booking engines, and back-office and customer facing systems is desirable

Additional Requirements

What will I need to succeed?

  • Evidenced practical Business Analysis experience demonstrating process and change management
  • Experience of problem solving, analytical thinking and workshop facilitation
  • Effective communication and experience of working closely with cross-functional teams and different stakeholders
  • Knowledge of various techniques to elicit and manage requirements
  • Skill at developing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams
  • Strong understanding of supporting the full software development lifecycle (waterfall/agile/hybrid)
  • The ability to accurately describe the data and information that supports the process
  • The ability to map and visually represent data structures and flow of information between services to technical and business teams
